The goal of this year's fundraiser is geared towards replenishing the funds that were used to renovate the shot put area so that we have funding available in the event we need to purchase additional implements to accomodate our growing program. As our program grows, and we become more competitive, more of our athletes qualify for the state track meet in Wichita. This is a two day meet that requires an overnight stay in Wichita. The school district does cover a majority of the athlete's expenses for this trip, but a lot of the meal costs are the responsibility of the athletes, so some of the funds will be allocated for state track expenses.
